Coldwater Lake formed in 1980 with the blast of Mt St Helens sending debris blocking Coldwater Creek and today over 45 years later it is a fantastic year round paddling experience!! 4 miles from the boat launch to the back end of the lake get there early as many people will tell you about the afternoon winds that can pick up but theres been many times calm in the afternoons!
Mayfield Lake- Hwy 12 Mossyrock
Ike Kinswa State Park always a locals favorite to paddle where the Tilton River flows into the lake on the North side of the park.
Silver Lake east of Castle Rock
Silver Lake only 7 miles east of Castle Rock with the Public Boat Launch at Kerr Road and kayak rentals available at Silver Lake Resort
